Jacob Lohr PT, DPT, OCS, USAW

Jacob Lohr was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Temperance, Michigan. He wrestled from the age of 5 all the way into college. He acquired his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo in 2018 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at South College-Knoxville in 2020.
Post graduation Jake worked in a general orthopedic clinic for 2 years before realizing he wanted a greater challenge. He became a board-certified orthopedic specialist and earned his certification in USA weightlifting Level 1 coaching. He gained experience working with a minor league hockey team and professional CrossFit athletes. Jake knew he wanted to focus on active individuals with a goal of returning to sport and achieving greater goals.
His passion and focus now revolves around treating the avid weight lifter and functional fitness athlete. He enjoys treating, acute/chronic muscle strains, chronic low back pain, overuse injuries, post-op knee injuries, and post op shoulder injuries. When he is not providing quality care to his athletes he loves to bow hunt, fly fish, hike, weight lift, and cook Friday night dinners or water paint with his wife, Mariah.

Mariah received her Bachelor of Science in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2018 then immediately began her graduate studies, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College (Knoxville, TN) in 2020. While working for about one year in orthopedic care, she discovered her passion for treating in pelvic health. She has now treated the pelvic health population since 2021 and earned her PRPC in 2023. She is approved by ICareBetter.com for specialized treatment of endometriosis symptoms. She is also trained in dry-needling interventions.

Mariah is passionate in helping others attain their highest level of health and wellness by optimizing movement so that they can live their most enjoyable life. She is experienced in the treatment of males and females experiencing urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain conditions, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and prenatal and postpartum conditions. She particularly enjoys treating pregnant and post-partum patients, while advocating for the importance of appropriate preventative care required during this period of significant life changes.
When not working, Mariah enjoys hiking the Smokey Mountains, cooking with her husband, playing volleyball, working out, reading, spending time with family, and checking out the local farmer's market!
